NHS Chess and Checkers Club is having a tournament. 32 players started this double-elimination tournament and cash prizes will be awarded. Students meet at lunch to challenge their skills and have success against their peers.
Needles Middle School has some fun lunchtime activities for their students this month. Starting with 16 teams they are holding a corn hole tournament that will last all month. What a great way to enjoy their time.

NHS Mini Chef’s Club took part in the Super Bowl Festivities. Students traveled to Las Vegas to cook alongside industry-leading chefs for NFL greats and distinguished guests. A great opportunity for our students who may want to pursue a career in the culinary field.

NUSD Cafeteria is excited to receive KIT Funding from the California Department of Education and No Kid Hungry. It provided the grant money to purchase their new refrigerated van. Getting food to all 3 of our NUSD cafeterias just got easier.
