Vista Colorado is celebrating Native American Heritage Month. Yesterday they had a performance and a history presentation to learn more about the culture. Students had fun when they were invited to participate in the performance.

NUSD students are getting ready for the upcoming holiday with the cafeteria. Today for lunch they were served turkey, green beans, sweet potatoes, stuffing and roll. Finished with an apple crisp.

NMS and Vista Colorado held a flag ceremony today in honor of the upcoming Veteran’s Day. We thank the NHS Band, Mr. Carlson, the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe Royalty, and US Marine Corp. Veteran Dave Smith for assisting with our ceremony today.
