Mark your Calendars for the December Activities at CVES...🎅🏼

As the cold and flu season is upon us, we want to ensure that everyone in our school community stays healthy and strong!
Here are some simple tips to help prevent illness and keep your family feeling their best:
1. Practice Good Handwashing:
Encourage your children to wash their hands frequently with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. Remind them to wash before meals, after using the restroom, and after coughing or sneezing.
2. Cover Coughs and Sneezes:
Teach kids to cover their mouths and noses with a tissue or their elbow when they cough or sneeze. This helps prevent the spread of germs.
3. Boost Immunity:
A healthy diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains can help strengthen the immune system. Don't forget the importance of staying hydrated and getting plenty of sleep, too!
4. Stay Active:
Daily physical activity can improve overall health and immunity. A family walk or some fun outdoor play can do wonders!
5. Sanitize High-Touch Surfaces:
Wipe down doorknobs, light switches, and shared electronics regularly to minimize germs at home.
Thank you for helping us create a healthy school environment for everyone. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us. Let’s work together to make this season safe and healthy!
