NUSD held its annual “Welcome Back” breakfast today. Teachers and staff enjoyed breakfast while Dr. Cameron recapped last year and updated staff on this year's events. Annual recognition and retirement awards were given out to employees. The Legacy Foundation came and explained their many opportunities for our students and our staff. It was a great way to start off the 2024-2025 school year.

NMS Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 to 3 for registration. Please come by to get your packet. Returning students need to bring an updated proof of residency. Students new to Needles Unified must bring proof of residency, shot records, and proof of birth. NOTE: The office will be closed on Wednesday, August 7, while staff is involved in training all day.

Needles High School had 6 incoming seniors participate in the MASH program. Students explored every component of the hospital from the lab, radiology, physical therapy, ER, OR, maintenance, culinary, and technology. Participants included: Ella Corona, Danelea Dillman, Adryan Eastman, Leilani Graham, Emilee Mills, and Itzel Morales. Way to go Mustangs!
