Our NMS and NHS AVID students enjoyed a tour of Long Beach State last week. They were also invited to watch a rehearsal for an abstract dance at their dance center. They ended their trip with a fun trip to Knott’s Berry Farm.

An Anonymous Donor donated 200 jackets to St. Vincent's de Paul Thrift Store; with the condition they are given out for free.
Jacket sizes are from Small Children to XXX-Large adults. One Jacket per person, children must come to the store to receive a child's jacket.

Congratulations to NUSD student Scotty Leonard. The Tri-state Community honored him this past weekend with the Young Wonder Award. Scotty is a junior at Needles High School and very involved in our community.

NMS and Vista Colorado held a flag ceremony today in honor of the upcoming Veteran’s Day. We thank the NHS Band, Mr. Carlson, the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe Royalty, and US Marine Corp. Veteran Dave Smith for assisting with our ceremony today.

Needles community came to NHS Thursday night for the Community Pep Rally and senior class bonfire. The Grand Marshall & guest speaker Danny Medrano got the night of games and fun off to a good start. The traditional bonfire is always a community favorite.

NHS's annual Homecoming Week Powder Puff games. Congratulations to the Sophomore Class of 2026 for winning volleyball and the Junior Class of 2025 for winning in sudden death for football. It was a fun night for the students, parents, and community.
