Needles Unified School District is excited to announce that we are utilizing a new service called COMPANY NURSE ON CALL for all workplace injuries. Effective immediately, the following procedures are MANDATORY for all employees to follow:

FOR LIFE THREATENING INJURIES - CALL 911

FOR NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURIES

The injured employee notifies the Principal or Head Teacher (Cafeteria, DSO, Maintenance & Transportation must notify their Supervisor)

The Principal, Head Teacher or Supervisor IMMEDIATELY CALLS:

A registered nurse gathers information over the phone & helps the injured employee access appropriate medical treatment at a designated facility if necessary.

The Company Nurse will handle all paperwork and forward the information to the Payroll Department. The Payroll Department will forward any necessary paperwork that needs to be completed to the injured employee and their Principal or Supervisor. This paperwork needs to be returned to the Payroll Department ASAP for proper handling.
