WE ARE PROUD OF ALL STUDENTS WHO ENTERED THEIR WORK IN THE ART SHOW!!!
NMS and NHS AVID programs hosted the First Annual College Fair on April 29th and 30th in the NHS Gym. Parents, students and staff listened to students present on the college of their choice! It was evident that students and their families put a lot of effort into these project boards! Thank you to AVID Coordinator Julie Rowan and AVID teachers at NMS and NHS for all you do for our students!

Three NHS students were selected by the Needles Rotary and provided scholarships by Rotary and NYDEF to attend the annual RYLA program in Prescott AZ. Camryn Tacy, Reid Shaver and Jacob Call had opportunities to network with students from 14 different countries while developing their leadership skills. These students will report on RYLA and be honored by the Board at the meeting on February 17, 2015.
Needles USD is proud of Ezrah Ponce, William Dunn, Zhiyong Xie and Kobee McCorkle who earned "Build Your Own Future" scholarships up to $2500 per remaining year at NHS. Students must earn their annual scholarship through community service, job shadowing and voluntarism. Each student submitted an extensive personal application and acquired letters of recommendation. Congratulations!
