Graduation Ceremony at the Anderson Field House June 3rd

The District has selected the Anderson Field House to hold the Class of 2021 commencement ceremony on Thursday, June 3, 2021. The Class of 2021 requested that their priority was to be able to invite all of their family and friends to the ceremony. As a result, using our own Branigan Field under California's COVID requirements who have only allowed a handful of family/friends to attend. The Fieldhouse will hold 5000 so being able to socially distance will not be a problem nor will students have a limited number of tickets! At the time that the decision was made in mid-April, the Fieldhouse was the only location available to house a large group. The California Department of Public Health has approved this event as long as all attendees wear a mask and socially distance. NUSD is looking forward to having our Class of 2021 in one place to celebrate their entry into college and careers! Thank you to all of the students and the parents of the Class of 2021! NUSD knows that this has been a difficult time for all!

As San Bernardino County entered into the orange tier last Friday, NUSD is working on the requirements for outdoor events that would impact our graduation and promotion plans. Our goal is to provide plans for these events as soon as possible. We would also like to develop other allowable ways to celebrate our students! Students will be surveyed and this information used to design plans! Stay Tuned!
