DRIVE-THROUGH GRADUATION FOR THE CLASS OF 2020

Thank you to all who completed the online survey with input on the upcoming graduation for the Class of 2020. We have now scheduled our graduation programs after taking into account your input as well as the required regulations from the San Bernardino County Health Department and the San Bernardino Superintendent of Schools as stated in their guidelines dated May 15, 2020. These guidelines have changed on a weekly and even more often basis, which prohibited our final determination until now.

High School Graduation ceremonies will take place as follows...
1. ETC and Needles Community Day School Wednesday, May 27th at 7:00 pm
2. Needles High School and SB County Programs Thursday, May 28th at 7:00 pm
3. Needles High School and SB County Programs Friday May 29th at 7:00 pm

For all ceremonies:
• All students must wear a mask and gloves. The District will provide these at check-in.
• Students will be able to have 2 vehicles (no trailered vehicles or motor homes) that include family.
• Students will be able to exit the car and cross the stage to receive their diploma from Principal Avila.
• Family members in masks may exit the car only to take pictures as long as they remain by their car.
• Students will stop on the way back to the car for a professional photo.
• Once the student returns to the car they are to leave the field area.
All ceremonies will be live-streamed to share with our families and community.
In addition, a videotape will be made and provided to all seniors.
More information will be provided to seniors and their families this week.
